Ego store – one-eyed holiday creatures It was a rare sunny Saturday afternoon, and an even rarer free day. I took my camera to the Chunxi Road shopping area for a glimpse of the holiday insanity. Christmas decorations are everywhere, even though it isn’t a Chinese holiday, but the shopping frenzy is making great inroads into the Chinese urban lifestyle. After lunch at a local food court, I had a hot chocolate at Starbucks, then went to a pet store to buy a dog coat for my, um, dog. Some new rawhide bones too.
